Take advantage of people who are at one of the lowest points in their life. While still trying to fathom my brother’s death, they shuffled papers in front of my mom for her to sign and “forgot” to leave her copies. It was a relatively small clean-up which we probably could have done on our own, but who’s thinking straight at a time like that – and that is what they take advantage of. They leave business cards with EMT & police departments because they are usually at the scene and and that is why we picked them. It’s not like anybody has a number handy for this type of service. Long story short, my mom was charged about $40,000 which her homeowners insurance covered, but that isn’t the point. Some of my brother’s items were missing that were nowhere near the one area of blood on the floor. Heartless, evil company.
